On February 27, 2025, our branch at Rashid Latif Medical College conducted an awareness campaign at Arif Memorial Teaching Hospital. Collaborating with RLMC and AMTH, the team empowered participants by educating them on medical responsibilities. The session covered organizing medical records, prescriptions, and medications, and the importance of communicating with healthcare providers. Afterward, brochures were distributed to help patients efficiently navigate their medical visits.

In the future, the team hopes to conduct an awareness campaign for diabetic patients in the outpatient department, covering essential topics such as blood sugar management, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and early complication detection. Uplifting underserved communities in the Kasur/Lahore area, the branch aims to host a donation drive and collaborate with local hospitals and clinics to ensure better healthcare access.
Statice @ The University of Bamenda - Bamenda, Cameroon
Partnering with the standing committee for Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights, our branch in Bamenda, Cameroon, hosted a campaign to raise awareness about gender-based violence and female genital mutilation. Almost 80 High school students learned how to respond to and identify different types of gender-based violence. The team provided resources such as hotlines and additional educational sources.

In the future, the team hopes to create a stronger online presence, start a blog, and recruit more volunteers. It aims to give a spotlight to more international health days by hosting events both online and in person.

Partnering with a local Kidpower branch, our branch in Lahore, Pakistan conducted a three-hour self-defense session to provide 50 underprivileged girls with the crucial skills and confidence they need to protect themselves. A certified instructor led the lesson, teaching participants various defense strategies, escape methods, and situational awareness skills.

The branch visited Heaven Old Age Home to initiate simple activities, including singing, sharing childhood memories, and telling jokes. To show its appreciation, the team brought flowers and groceries to the residents and concluded the day with a soothing yoga session hosted by Mandaana Zaidi (@yogatouhoga5 on Instagram), a certified instructor. This peaceful experience allowed residents to embrace positivity and release stress.

Our branch visited the Pakistan Society for Rehabilitation of the Differently-Abled. The team had the privilege of working with 50 young students in harnessing the power of music to spread joy. It introduced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and the “Three Good Things” exercise to encourage individuals to identify negative thought patterns and recognize their strengths and small victories.

In the future, the team hopes to uplift marginalized communities, foster skill-building, and initiate impactful conversations. It has planned out various events to achieve these goals, including an art therapy & social-emotional learning session to empower the transgender community and a biking workshop to instill confidence and independence in underprivileged students. Additionally, the branch is working on launching its own podcast to feature professionals who will cover social issues, mental health, and empowerment.

Our branch in Karachi, Pakistan, held a session for school maintenance staff on first aid basics. Faculty members learned about first aid, DRABC, basic medicines, burns, nosebleeds, bruises, and sprains. This event instilled confidence in participants' ability to effectively apply first aid techniques, supporting marginalized communities through basic medical awareness.

The branch held a second session for school maintenance staff on
other first aid basics, including choking, fractures, bleeding,
shock, and emergency response.

In the future, the team aims to focus on mental health awareness by
creating health guides on various mental health issues.

On February 9th, 2025, our branch in Chandigarh, India, organized a medical camp in the 38 West Slum Area, Chandigarh, to educate children about first aid and nutrition. The team performed two educational skits and provided a quiz afterward. Concluding with fun games such as “In and Out” and “Red Light, Green Light,” the camp successfully instilled a better understanding of emergency response, the importance of balanced nutrition, and improved health awareness among the children.

On February 16, 2025, Statice Health conducted a four-hour menstrual health and hygiene awareness seminar in the Jagatpura area, engaging young girls in discussions to break stigmas and promote proper menstrual hygiene. The event included a game of storytelling to give participants opportunities to share their experiences with periods. Creating a safe and supportive environment, the activities helped increase awareness and dispel misconceptions about periods.

To promote healthy ways to address mental health, our branch in Monterey Park, California, USA, partnered with a local club to set up a slime booth. Participants learned how to make slime and use it as a way to relieve stress, promoting positive mental health habits.
